Bencke creates her own version of the greek sculptures usually found on the pediments of
buildings like the Pantheon. These ancient art forms have stood the test of time and still hold
place in our understanding of history and storytelling. Here she makes soft sculptures
which in contrast to the ancient stone carvings are delicate beasts of today.
